Numbers in Korean (Native Korean Numbers)


 

Korean numbering system has two types of numbering system i.e. Sino Korean Numbers and Native Korean Numbers. Here is Native Korean Numbering system.  Native Korean Numbering system has number from 1-100 only. It is used for age and for number of items (1-99).

After 99, Native Korean numbers are no longer in use, so you don’t need to know them. You won’t hear these too often, but the most common use would be to tell someone your age.

Korean Alphabets (Vowels)

  Vowels Korean Alphabets Vowels (Simple Vowels) Here are the Korean alphabets. You have to learn vowels first. Vowels are easy to memorize. The vowels in Korean are divided into simple and compound vowels. 10 simple vowels + 11 compound vowels = 21 vowels Here are the simple vowels. ㅏ  a ㅑ  ya ㅓ  eo ㅕ  yeo ㅗ  o ㅛ  yo ㅜ  u ㅠ  yu ㅡ  eu ㅣ  i These are the simple vowels which you need to memorize.
